LHTC GALA FUNDRAISER
Light Horse Track Club is fundraising for its 2025 events. Next year, we plan to host two outdoor track meets and a cross-country meet, with plans to expand in the future. Our vision is to host high-level community-to-pro races that unite runners from our community, region, and nationwide. Think of the Boston Athletic Association but in the DC metro.
To do this, we need your support now. We will need generous donations from individuals and companies alike. If you are a runner or a supporter who lives in the DC metro area and wants to see distance running thrive in our region, please consider donating to LHTC today.
We are very excited to announce Girls on The Run Northern Virginia as our 2025 benefactor. We will donate a portion of the proceeds from our fundraiser to GOTR NOVA to support future programming. Partnerships like these highlight our commitment to building a community that will expand the sport of distance running from your TV to your local track.
In addition to our events, we will use your donation dollars to support the Light Horse Track Club team and continue providing opportunities for DMV-based runners to pursue their running goals while growing our community. With more funding, we’ll be able to provide better support for runners aiming to run at the national and international levels.
The LHTC Gala is on Saturday, January 25th in Aldie, VA. We will be celebrating a big year at LHTC and bringing together the DMV running community. You can expect a light dinner, drinks, LHTC awards, a keynote speaker, and entertainment.
